I found out about the Spark just days ago, and it was images of the app that got me really interested. Unfortunately, the app isn't even available for Android yet, and now I'm here reading about production issues on the amp itself. Gonna be waiting for product reviews to see how this thing functions before buying. Thank goodness I'm not one of the people waiting since November for this.

@scarecrowtrobot the android app is available on playstore, I downloaded the Beta version about a week ago and it's has its first update. What I don't have however is my amp to test the app on!

@diegofiorillo-uk They should have and probably did know what their production numbers were before allowing 10,000 + preorders. You should never had allowed these orders to be taken, or offer some compensation for the people that have to wait for who knows how long now. If reviews come in early that this thing has issues, I'm bailing if not sooner. Maybe the delay is a blessing in disguise. This thing better have reviews better than sliced bread or I'm OUT !
AND THEY STILL SAY SHIPPING FEB 2020 ON THE ORDER SITE ! REALLY GUYS ???
Yeah I am lookinG for an excuse to get the katana 50. First bad review I am out.

Let’s just hope the coronavirus doesn’t further delay things. It has the potential to be very disruptive of manufacturing and supply chains in China and elsewhere.

Couldn't agree with you more. If you take a deposit from a customer you better keep them up to date on the status of their order. You don't just leave them in the dark. I don't have a problem with delays. I do have a problem with a company taking my $$ and not updating me on major delays. It would be so simple for them to post an update on their website yet they choose not to due so. Call it arrogance or confusion. I still want my spark but the chance of me doing business with them again is ...Nada. I ordered mine on Dec. 12th. That means I will prob get it in let's say...October maybe ? -

But your right in everything you said. I will wait it out because I believe in the product but my opinion of PG has skewed a bit. Let’s hope the future is better.

I'll say.I ordered end of November ans was expecting to share at NAMM in late January. That has passed. In hindsight, I would not have ordered had the delivery estimate been close to the true estimated ship date. I am am fully expecting more delays and excuses.
Of course my funds went through the day of my order.
Let's hope it doesn't come with Coronavirus pre-installed. -
Here is the latest correspondence i just had with them....
I wrote : I have a question. Power supporters like myself are wondering why it still says shipping jan 2020 on the site? And for the orders still being taken it says feb?!!!
If mine is coming in April and I ordered in November how can that be. Look I have tried my hardest to be in your corner but now it seems like you are intentionally mis leading people. Really disappointed when It was pointed out to me on your forums. Save some face and update your site guys and gals.

I had mentioned possibly canceling. HOWEVER, i got ANOTHER update today and it is good news! I will make a seperate post about it but here it is...

We’re writing to share some updates about your Spark amp and app. As you may know, Spark has been a runaway success, with now over 20,000 pre-orders and a slew of positive feedback from the media, YouTubers and more. In fact, we just unveiled Spark at the NAMM Show in January where it was awarded the “Best Guitar Amp at NAMM” from MusicRadar.
We know you’ve been waiting for your Spark, and we’re sure what you really want to know is, “When will I get mine?” Here’s what’s happening. The popularity of Spark has exceeded our expectations and the large quantity of orders has resulted in a shortage of an essential component. The good news is we’ve been able to re-source this component, and our production is back on track. However, this shortage has created a delay past our original estimate for January shipping.
We will be shipping Early Bird and Super Early Bird orders the first week of February. Your order, and those of other Power Supporter purchasers, will follow in the order in which they were received. We anticipate now that you will receive your order by the end of February.

@diegofiorillo-uk I'm a Power Supporter received and e-mail on February 7th stating "By the end of February." Maybe it's because I'm in the US? Dunno, but my boss just received his less than an hour ago (Early Bird) and he's already loving it. He says it sounds like the speakers are 3D and the backing tracks work great.
Can't wait to get mine.

You know, it is disgraceful. When I ordered less than 6,000 units had been sold. Now it's over 20,000. I am hoping a few people have lost their jobs over this fiasco. The company has received over $3 million for a product that is just barely and very slowly getting off the production line. Excuses as the demand, production snags and any other rhetoric trying to excuse their poor management is just that, excuses covering up poor management. They are meaningless. It sounds like they finally got a few out of the factory and sent them out, since I ordered 11/16 and have been told that it would be the end of March. Someone else said they were told the end of March and they ordered late December. That doesn't make sense. I think the company is still stringing us along. Meanwhile, that $3 million keeps echoing in my mind.

@desertdrifter7 This is bleeding edge stuff and frankly I'm not surprised at all. Then again I work in IT so I almost expected delays, lol.
i also expect lots of problems with it that will be ironed out over months, if not years. Fender released their Mustang GTs and they were horrible until a good year and a half of firmware updates fixed 'em.
i ordered mine 11/8, I think, and I pretty much put it out of my mind. Now that I've received two e-mails saying "by the end of February," and the fact my boss got his the other day. I WANT MY NEW AMP DAMMIT lololol
Be patient. Getting mad isn't going to change a single thing and the only person it affects is you so...why bother?

I am not sure what category I am in. Super Early Bird, Early Bird, Power Supporter or what. I placed my order #3040 on November 4th. My paypal was charged on that date as well. How about a hint?! Beginning of January, end of January, beginning February, End of February ... all but one has passed. Still not a clue. How about a meaningful update?
