Cannot connect Bias FX to garageband in order to record

When I follow the prompts on:

It pulls up the Bias FX program, but only a DEMO version. It won't let me change any of the presets or anything, and doesn't even work with the demo version. Is there an updated tutorial or something on how to do this?
