I'm interested in the best portable method to play my BIAS FX2 and AMP2 for house or partys elswhere.
So no front of house to go to because it'll be at my house. haha
Do I do a Powered Mixer 4-8 channels and run mic's and the output from my focusrite interface from my pc/tablet to a passive speaker 12" 2-way?

Or do I just use a powered speaker 12" 2-way from the interface?

Or do I get a re-amp box and use a guitar amp w/cab on a clean channel?

      I'm open for either scenario.

Also what is the difference from a powered mixer/poweramp (Seymore duncan powestation etc.) and a guitar amp?

Ive connected into my pc and daw and can record no problem, but I just wanna play them out loud like from something like a cabinet.

I would recommend a powered monitor built specifically for this purpose like the Headrush FRFR-108.

Line out of interface -> Powered speaker...

Unless you have a real need for more than the two inputs on the speaker a mixer adds no value and is just another thing that may require tweaking since it sits in your signal chain.

As Elric stated all you really need is an interface and one or two Flat Range Flat Response (FRFR) speakers.

I use a an AXE I/O interface into two HeadRush FRFR-112 speakers. They can get ridiculously loud if you crank them up.

You definitely want to go with a FRFR speaker setup and there are quite a few on the market. The HeadRush FRFR speakers are at the best price point and I have been very pleased with them.

Sorry this is in old thread. I have FX2 on iPad. I have PreSonus AudioBox 96 that I usually plug into Mac. How would I inject iPad into this?
