Signal chain levels

Hey guys. How do you make sure to get proper input and output levels in the different apps you use for your rigs?
Right now I'm getting decent tones runningneverything in AUM.
Tonestack>bias amp>Fiddlicator.
I might try JamUp in front for drive pedals and then tonestack after the cab for reverbs and stuff. What kind of signals are you guys using and how are you making sure you have he levels right?

At first, I was using Levels App and Some tone gen app both before and after Bias inside Audiobus, but lately I've been doing them on the desktop. I average between an 800hz sine wave and a pink noise tone and it gets me pretty damn close, as I am trying tons of different impulses and things, I really need to get it apples to apples. This is something that I'd like to see as a native function, and its in the user manual for my hypothetical iOS guitar rack thing....still trying to think it through, but for now, on iOS, Levels App plus MultiTone App plus Audiobus is ok-ish

Im not really using Audiobus. it doesnt really give the flexibility i need. Although when you save presets i wonder if it will recall the specific bias AMP that I had loaded.

so i just tried and Audiobus does save state. I wonder if it will save a bias state if it is loaded inside tonestack while tonestack is loaded in audiobus

tonestack
No that doesnt work. But I can load a chain in audiobus that is Tonestack>Bias Amp and then save it and it saves both the apps. Then I can load a different one and it changes the state of the apps.
Can the audio bus switching happen on the fly with midi? I wonder what the delay is.
And since tonestack takes the input slot and bias amp takes the effects slot you cannot also use Fiddlicator in AB3 at the same time. Only two app signal flow?

Its supposed to, but in my experience, it won't. Audiobus and IAA are great, in that they exist, but I'd really really LOVE to see something like the functionality of VST on iOS. AU does exist, but so far as I have been able to make hooks, it is not the AU you would see on a desktop. And at this point its academic anyway, as the stuff me and you would want to use with it don;t exist (yet?)

Hopefully something new comes out
