We need Global Noise Gate back to Bias Fx 2
-
I just upgraded Bias fx pro to Bias Fx 2 elite and found out that the global noise gate was removed!?!? Why is that?
Now all the older high gain presets made with Bias Fx pro are useless and I have to manually add noise gate and noise reduction pedals to all the presets. Old Global Noise Gate was working perfectly and now I have to tweak and tweak pedals to make it silent with long sustain.
I'm Back to Bias FX pro on for this reason. I hope Positive Grid take this "problem" seriously and bring back the best "FX pedal" there was in Bias Fx 1. I'm sure that I'm not the only one with this thing!

I prefer the noise gate being on a pedal so that it can be fine tuned per preset. Global noise gate forces me to manually adjust it every time I switch a preset.

same, actually. I was glad to get options. Mute/reduce, for example.

WTF are you talking about? There is a gate pedal in FX 2. I use it all the time.

@elric He's noting that in FX1 there used to be a global noise gate in the architecture, not a pedal.
In FX2 the architecture changed and they did away with the global noise gate feature. That means that all his presets in FX1, which used to rely on the global noise gate for noise reduction, now have to have one of the gate pedals added to them.
Not the hugest deal in the world, but definitely a PITA if you have a lot of presets to import from FX1.
