BIAS FX 2 mobile release?
-
Is there any update on the release of BIAS FX 2 mobile? It's taking quite a while, isn't it? Is there any Beta release or anything?
-
Haven't heard anything but I am hopeful! I think my iPad Pro can handle it and it would be so killer to have the latest version on there!!

I'm anxiously awaiting the update of bias fx 2 mobile, you have to make a move!
so I know that you mainly bet on bias fx 2 for pc, but 279 euros I don't even give you dead... -
They're releasing a new combo amp now, so they are going in a thousand different directions instead of finishing off what they've already got. Many people are using BIAS Amp & FX live and would really like an updated version but PG is not even giving any updated news on this. I wonder if there are issues trying to fit everything into the smaller format. Who knows......

Watching the carnage across the entire audio community from Catalina, I don't know what people expect...if PG is smart they're waiting in the trenches till the Apple nuts fix their stuff first

so well put when people only want to complain - truly a software fad this complaining
imagine complaining to hardware manufacturers "my super cool hardware set up I love is old give me something new and better nowwwwww"
This is the biggest all around change in the Crapple audio platform across their entire line - iOS has been divided into multiple systems - Catalina will start to integrate with iOS having apps running on both natively - IAA still looks to be loosing ground but the AU standard is still slow to take hold on iOS - there is more going on too
Also of note - If Bias FX 2 is anything like other iOS apps from PG this means it will replace our working Bias FX 1 installs when we upgrade in the app store and no turning back... (go to the app store on a device with Bias Amp 2 and look for Bias Amp 1)
I do believe they want to earn more $ and are smart enough to release this update when they should - people think they don't want this out there earning??
if people like the stuff well now is the last chance to ask for fixes before the release and be patient because software always comes when it does, when we want has nothing to do with anything
Thank you again @PG for taking time to get this right - cheers

@tafkad Some good points here......

also worth noting -
the Carnage is yet to come
When Bias FX 2 goes live on the "platform(s)" a lot of people that are using it live and don't stay in touch with the way the software/hardware world works are going to dive in and could lose their live setups and freak out (just like iOS updates can do for some)
Positive Grid is keeping all those players playing live by letting things in the Operating Systems get sorted out before making this change and further testing - a change I hope addresses current issues maybe even before the FX 2 release and I assume this is their goal in either case before or after
We have a lot of variables going on - Crapple + Midi + USB + and now C + Bluetooth + Audio Interfaces and this is just a compressed look at what is involved when we try to realize how many different manufactured pieces of hardware can fit on that list that are on this planet now
I am hopeful for a totally smooth change and this is why I won't update to iPadOS 13 and will wait to update to Bias FX 2 until after the dust settles (our Appstore updates to all the other audio apps you may have that keep referencing iOS 13 shows this is universal for all app developers)
the candy always comes, I figure why not be patient
cheers
