The IR loader is still using a WHOPPING 13 - 14% Realtime CPU!
Please get the IR loader to mellow out a bit!
Does this happen with Bias Amp 2? I think that has an IR loader as well.
-
Probably, but in general, Bias Amp is meant to be pretty munchy, as it leaves a lot of the more easily streamlineable stuff open and ready for change in real time for the purposes of creation

@paul-jones32 IR performance is identical between Amp2 and FX2

Hi everyone, unfortunately for me the latest version, v2.1.4.4785, stops immediately upon opening.
I contacted Mike, who informed me of the procedures to be performed, but there was no way to start it.
I tried to uninstall the latest version and then installed the previous version, v2.1.3.4781 of 06/27/2019, and everything started up again correctly!
I have MacOS Mojave 10.14.6 on a Mac Mini and it has always worked perfectly.
I don't know if it's just my problem, but at this point I won't update anymore ... to avoid nasty surprises!
If someone had the same problem and was able to start the latest version, I would be very grateful if you could give me advice on what I can do!
Thank you -
Anyone seeing the wah showing its off when its really on? Like I can sweep the pedal and hear the wah, but it shows off in the GUI

@pipelineaudio I've had it happen in scene mode many times.
Were you in scene mode? -

Anyone finding the Looper very slow and non responsive?
-
Also having a nightmare running standalone on Windows 10. Takes forever to load and then lags terribly when in use. Switching between presets takes an age; in fact all operations take forever making the software unusable. Have tried both 32 bit and 64 bit on two different windows 10 laptops. Looper is unusable. A total shame.

@steve-church I had some terrible issuses with both BFX 1 and 2 and have a feeling, although no real data to back it up, that I had an incompatibility with windows 1903 and ASIO drivers. I believe that the broad user base and relatively small level of griping about BFX1&2 suggests that for "most" people, it seems to work well.
In your case (and mine as well), we may have a unique set of drivers/configs, that messes up Bias. Frustrating, I know. Especially given the investment needed for these.
FWIW, the forum here and @Mike are very helpful.

@steve-church Are you sure your on windows new 1903 update? Its a really big update with a lot of changes for windows 10. I recon they worked on updating bias under that new windows 1903 update, I recon it could be a cause if others are on previous windows 10 version. Its a little hard for me to say anything about how thing would work before that windows 10 update, as I actually updated my windows 10 just before I updated Bias fx2. I wish to just inform if that could be any help to pinpoint troubles helping you enjoy your music.
I would also just remind that I actually had to roll back my focusrite asio driver to 2.4.5 driver. Its a asio driver windows 10 issue as the issue with driver also occurred in other instances as in reaper and everywhere else this driver came to action.
So make sure your looking to update windows to 1903 spring big update version. Also, this update will take forever to do, so your warned not to try to restart computer if its halting, the update takes very long.
I will just say it does not lag for me, or changes instances.

@steve-church Have you tried to manually uninstall BIAS FX 2 first, then reinstall BIAS FX 2 again ?
