@myxolydian So you're also experiencing the same issue as well ? It's weird that we can not easily reproduce this issue from here...thanks

Unfortunately it's partly the design of the feature. If you have a wah set up in a scene 2, operate that wah, and then change to scene 3, the wah will be left in the place you left it, rather than in the place it started at when you changed to scene 2 in the first place.

That is a design flaw. We set up scenes in the first place with the thought of having some variation of a preset ready to go. If the scene is just going to change the second you modify any of the parameters on the fly (like operating a wah, modifying delay timing, phase intensity, or any other parameter), that defeats the purpose of having a preset variation in the first place. I can accomplish that end without any scene feature.

I may change parameters of a scene on the fly, to fit in with some improvisation in the moment, but that's just for that moment. When I leave that scene and come back to it, it might be 3 songs later, and I need to know that when I come back to it, it's exactly in the place it started in, not the place I left it 3 songs ago.

Its happening in other pedals and the amp head as well

I mentioned numerous times on here, on email, and even when I write directly to positive grid that the MIDI toggle system for pedals can lead to constant and important logic errors

Toggle is cool, and I wouldn't like to see it taken away from those who need it, but:

We really, really, really really need to have MIDI able to directly state a pedal to off and another to directly state a pedal to on.

I have a feeling this problem might still be causing some trouble in the scenes

@pipelineaudio I agree with your logic here. while the scenes are a great feature, I have found there is still room to improve them...

@paul-jones32 @Myxolydian @pipelineaudio Hi guys, if it helps if we make Cry Wah always at the toe position when you switch to a scene ?

That would be AWESOME to me, but I bet others may squwawk so maybe an option?

@mike I use the Pitch Shifter also, and it runs into the same problem as the Wah does. Some people might not want it auto-adjusted to the toe down position.
Is there a reason scenes have to automatically save? Just make them act like presets within a preset. Please, let us decide which positions the pedals will be in when we engage a scene, and let them stay that way until we save it otherwise.

I was excited about scenes because they use CC messages not PC's. As I've reported in another area, PC messages dont work in VST unless you open the BIAS FX2 window first, but CC's work without opening the window. Having the scenes change every time I use them makes them unusable to me, and in concert with the PC's not working, it's made this entire product quite troublesome for my use. I run a one man show with 5 different instruments, with Mobius looping, and I don't have time or screen space to be opening a window of every FX2 instance I run or having scenes change on me every time I adjust a parameter on wah or pitch shift. Those are the 2 pedals I use the most, of course.

                      Thanks for your feedback,

Scene feature was not designed as presets within presets in the first place, it's more like the pedal switching system on a pedalboard, but I'll definitely forward your feedback to our product team, thanks!

Its a way to have truly fast preset switching. Since it changes multiple parameters at once (on/bypass status and I believe parameter values) its not so much like pedals on a pedalboard as patch pedals on a multi fx pedalboard

And better yet, return it to what you had initially set it to for that scene

To me that's the ideal for all of this and it gives us near instant switching where preset switching just won't cut it
