Few Bias FX2 questions
-
Using a pedal board running into Bias mini into FRFR. Thinking about upgrading to Bias FX2 (I have Bias FX) ditching the pedal board, and using ipad with FX2 and midi controller.
- Is the Elite version worth the extra $100 over the Pro for the upgrade ($99 vs $199)?
- For live use I guess I would still have to run into bias mini or some other type of power amp for XLR to mixing board.?
3)) Anyone using this for lyrics and midi https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/Duo200--airturn-duo-200-transmitter-with-2-pedals - Are these decent specs for Ipad purchase?
Thanks in advance.

@bgucrossroads I would take the celestion any time. Just remember the celestions must be fine tuned to sound its best. Celestion is what separate the pro and elite version. There is multiple IR’s inside - it is not a single impulse response. Think there is a teacher/student offer out, 40% off price.
That way you can move a mic around. I think that pretty convenient to be able to do that.
There is information about the Celestion here: https://help.positivegrid.com/hc/en-us/articles/360007567672-What-s-the-difference-between-Celestion-Modern-Vintage-Pack-and-Celestion-IRs-
Ant there are some insight about how to fine tune the celestion: https://forum.positivegrid.com/topic/1519/celestion-ir-pack/4
I normally use Bias on Pc. But if that ipad is one of the new one and takes the newest ios, suppose its no problem.
Beside that, there are more diffences between pro and elite if I'm not wrong here. Look at the bottom page. There are more differences on how many factory presets and even amps, and guitar matches. More hd racks. You also get BIAS Pedal Distortion, Delay, Modulation inside fx2. https://www.positivegrid.com/bias-fx/
