I know this issue has come up in a previous post, but I feel it deserves a post of its own.

I can change programs via MIDI... But if you make any changes like turning on or off effects or changing volumes, when you try to change programs, it brings up warning box that you have to clear before it will change programs. This makes using a midi foot pedal virtually impossible.

I checked with the original Bias FX to see if that was a problem... It’s not. Bias FX 1 works perfectly when changing programs after making individual effects changes. This means that Bias FX2 actually ADDED a nonfunctional element to an otherwise functional aspect of the program!?!

@luca-matioc said in FX2 - Any way to disable the "modifications will be lost without saving" alert?:

        Save the current preset?"

It annoys the living hell out of me and I would like to be able to have full control over which preset I choose and when, regardless of what modifications I made, like using a wah/volume pedal (which shouldn't be considered modifications in general).

Please fix this issue by either

        1. Removing that pop-up compelitely
        2. Don't consider using the Wah/volume pedal a "modification" that causes your tone to get an "Edited" status
        3. Giving pople the option to remove this pop-up.

Thanks in advance and I hope there's a way to get what I need out of this software. I hope more people feel the same way about this.

@siberino has a solution been incorporated in the recent update?

@paul-jones32 no - this is why splitting threads into 2 sucks -

read the original thread for this issue

Come on guys... This shouldn't be that difficult. Just put it back to the way it was on Bias FX1!

Strangely, all this struggling to find ways to make Bias FX2 more usable, has had the effect of making Bias FX1 ACTUALLY usable!

                So THAT'S progress, I guess...

@mike Cool! I'm actually looking forward to being able to use these tones in a live setting.
