Bias FX stores its files in OneDrive folder??

Hi,
I reinstalled my BIAS FX because all my presets were gone (not physically) only in the application. After searching the file system, I can see that BIAS FX stores its files in a OneDrive folder: "c:\Users\Username\OneDrive\Dokumente\BIAS_FX\Presets". I think that this behaviour is not intended. How can I change this? Thanks!

BIAS amp stores its content into a OneDrive folder too.

Hallo Jürgen. Ich vermute, dass der BIAS Ordner in User/documents irgendwie automatisch in den OneDrive-Sync einbezogen wurde und sich dort nun (nur) ein Duplikat der Ursprungsdaten befindet.
Wenn du nicht aus Deutschland kommst kann ich auch versuchen diese Antwort zu übersetzen ;)

Depends on the system. My Win7 x64 system stores them (there are two locations) at:
C:\Users[username]\Documents\
C:\Users[usernmae]\AppData\Roaming\
Of course, I would have it different in case of system corruption - and always install program folders in D : \My Documents[music folder name][program name] . For manual backup I have shortcuts to the above C locations in my Start Menu. (I've re-instated the Quick Launch as well....)

@sascha-ballweg Hallo Sascha, vielen Dank für deine Antwort. Ich habe das nochmal geprüft. Leider ist dem nicht so. Die Dateien liegen physikalisch tatsächlich im OneDrive-Ordner. Ich vermute mal, dass das Programm beim Anlegen der Verzeichnisse nicht korrekt arbeitet und sich einen falschen Pfad vom OS besorgt. Dies gilt übrigens auch BIAS Amp und BIAS Pedal. Ich habe aber nun keine Lust alle PG Programme nochmal zu deinstallieren, OneDrive zu deaktivieren und dann alles wieder zu reinstallieren, um zu sehen, ob dann die Verzeichnisse korrekt installiert werden. Schöner wäre es, wenn man in einem Settings-File oder einem Registry-Eintrag den Pfad verändern könnte.

@jürgen-dick ich würde einfach mal die Ordner aus dem Drive heraus in den lokalen /documents/ Pfad verschieben (nicht kopieren) da dies der Default-Pfad ist, an dem die Programme die Settings eigentlich erwarten. Das sollte funktionieren :)

@sascha-ballweg Ich habe Deinen Vorschlag ausprobiert und siehe da, es funktioniert. Trotzdem fragt man sich, wieso die Applikationen die Dateien zunächst im OneDrive-Ordner angelegt haben.

I strongly suggest not to move files around as the file hierarchy is quite different to what we know. BIAS may come to a state where you can't proceed with at all and no way to roll back either, unless you reinstall it.

@joe-kuo Moving the files from the OneDrive folder to the user documents folder did it for me. I imported some old preset files in the same way (I had some backups of my presets) and had to edit the bank.json file (no problem for me, I'm a software developer). The question is: why did the software (BIAS Amp, BIAS FX and BIAS Pedal) store its presets into the OneDrive folder and not in the user/Documents folder as expected?
