Bias Fx 2 preset folder iCloud Drive

Why do installation place Bias Fx 2 presets in iCloud Drive?

@famous1000 I'd suggest you to disable iCloud when launching BIAS FX, or all presets/licenses data will be saved/replaced by iCloud.

I have iCloud drive enabled and it syncs all my presets between my two computers regardless of which one I am using. It's awesome. Why would you not want this?

Ok, I understand now that this is a iCloud setting dependable. I just leave the setting as it is now.

@elric Yes it's awesome when you have 2 computers switch between but it replaces the preset/license folder when running on one computer.

@felix Could the devs split out the location of local settings like the license and general things like the presets? Generally, on a Mac, Applications will put local and system files in some place like:
/Library/Application Support/<vendor>/<application>and then put user documents (which is what presets are) in:
/Users/<username>/Documents/<Vendor Name>/<application name>/<data>
This is how Amplitube 4, Revalver, and Helix Native all work, for example.
Keeping all the license/login info in the user data area might be one reason it gets fouled up all the time and people running PG stuff have to login and logout all the time. That is one issue I have with PG stuff vs others who seem to have this straightened out. The Mac development paradigm is pretty well standardized and there is not any good reason to mix your system data with your user data.
