    BIAS FX 2 level with empty signal chain way lower than bypassed plug-in - why?

      If I insert a BIAS FX 2 instance in my DAW and remove all effects from it and switch Amp and Cab off, the resulting level at the output of my channel strip is way lower than if I simply bypass the whole plug-in. What's the reason for that? And if it is actually correct behaviour, by what amount is the input signal actually attenuated before it reaches the output?

        BTW just measured with a Test Oscillator as input, the attenuation is -12 dB. So, why does BIAS FX 2 do this?

          Agree, this makes using guitar match + Direct out unviable.
