Anyone else downgraded to demo upon logging into Bias FX 2 latest build?

Still downgrading. On Windows. Typical "always on a sunday" kind of problem.

Mine is still borked...Glad to hear I'm not the only one.

Almost all of the major issues I've seen with PG stuff goes right back to the copy protection. Things like this are scary as they can kill you in front of a client.

Early on in REAPER development, a friend was doing a live broadcast from a pretty big golf game and one of his plugs or his DAW needed to authorize...It was a weekend, and no real way to get any help. He ended up broadcasting the whole thing from a portable Zoom recorder! We were all terrified....yes it makes it too easy to steal, but the terror involved in not being able to work or pull up a mix 24/7/365 made it a no brainer for us.

I'm not saying anyone else should do that, but these showstoppers really need to be considered. If you look at the other major problems, which to me are loading times, resource use, reliability and general stickiness, you can tell by the amount of hash that Bias writes to the project file compared to others, that this is most likely copy protection again at the root of the problem. I had a video detailing that while a chain of other similar plugs added 3kb to a project file, Bias FX added 250kb!!!!!!

Lets get these things fixed, so the best sounding guitar software will also be among the best performing!

The absence of copy protection is what made me buy Reaper.

Hi , have you tried to delete the hidden ".license" file in Documents/PositiveGrid/BIAS_FX 2 folder, then logout/login Tonecloud in BIAS FX 2 again ?

Didn't help here either. It actively downgraded on logging out/logging in when I tested out of curiosity yesterday. If that can have any relevance I use dropbox as my Documents folder (so Positive Grid folder is in Dropbox).

I'm on Macs... not seeing issues but one thing I did see recently was an inability use content I had purchased. It was not a full blown license failure but things that were part of Elite were 'locked'. The thing that fixed it for me was logging out on BOTH stand alone and plugin and then logging back in on each. It was very weird. I had tried each one individually and it was not sufficient only both, log out + quit and then start back up and re-login on each.

Same issue here in demo mode (Windows). Anyone have luck getting theirs up and running?

Hi all, just want to narrow down the issue here, are you beta testers of FX2 ...? If yes, the beta license has expired on 3/31, please send us a ticket for the follow up, thank you
