I do appreciate the new preset browser, thanks guys, but I question on why we have to look at presets that are unavailable? Very reminiscing of Amplitube, which was and likely still is full of presets and gadgets that require additional purchases.

I own the Pro version, not likely to drop the additional 100 for the Elite version, a fact that I rather not be reminded of every time I use the software.

Please add a global filter to hide unlicensed items!

To backup the OP a bit, this was one of those "bitter taste" things that really poisoned the well against IK multimedia. In their case like 90% of the zillions of presets couldnt be opened. It actually got kind of ugly on facebook and some of the forums

I always thought it would be cool if next to the name there would be an icon, like scrooge mcduck if it worked on the base version, then an icon for each pack it needed next to the name.

Really I think now that Bias FX is looking like a complete package (a harmonizer is WAY more important to many people than most people seem to get! its what keeps people on or at least running in parallel some of the other modellers), I am starting to bet there will be a lot more interest in the integration between Bias pedal and Bias FX

That's actually misleading info with regards to Amplitube, for starters the presets could still be opened regardless, they would just display an message telling you it may not sound as expected or deisigned due to missing modules, secondly it was quite a trivial matter to get around and never see any presets that used modules you didn't own.

Holy Guacamole! Can you add "Advanced compressor" to the PG compressor bundle? That is awesome!

For the purpose of this discussion it's irrelevant, we're not on the IK forum...

How do you autohide presets that you don't have the gear for? That was a specific question to their reps that they said couldn;t be done, hence a lot of the blowback they received. I don't see what is wrong with my claim, a large number of presets in the browser were shown that couldn't be opened without some of the licenses, I don;t see how that's wrong.

And I am quite a huge supporter of IK and their innovations, but at some point it got hard to defend them on this point.
