Charging

I'm unable to find anything about this here, but I was wondering if these dual lightning splitters work to charge devices while connected to BIAS FX.
-
@stevenkay depends if it sends audio/data they’re all different. Personally I use the USB 3.0 apple connector which has a USB port for interface and a lightning port for charger
-
Saw a while ago that Apple gave a limit to the sample rate through their version of this.
-
@john limit to the sample rate on the usb3.0 or the lightning splitter?
-
@brian-dress It may have been this one (Belkin though):

@john yeah I use the official Apple usb 3.0 which doesn’t seem to limit my sample rate at all and can use most any usb compliant interface
-
Yeah, probably best to go with the Apple one since their updates always invalidate other brands. Thanks, gentlemen.
-
@stevenkay Get the official Apple adapter that has a lightning and USB port. Great accessory... you can then use any class compliant usb interface and charge.
-
@stevenkay this is the one sir. Apple Lightning to USB3 Camera Adapter https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01F7KJDIM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_thg-Bb1D9G6R0

@brian-dress Ordered. Thanks.

By the way, the Apple USB 3 won't work for me. My Sonic Port connects to my devices with its supplied lightning connector, not via USB. The Belkin, and other splitters, do not send the guitar signal to devices. Seemingly nothing online regarding charging while playing with a Sonic Port, so I guess I just keep charging to 100% before playing, for now.

This is one of the biggest benefits of the Sonoma Wireworks iOS devices to me, pass through charging, both on the StudioJack mini and the GuijarJack stage
