Will bias FX bi compatible with Mac OS Mojave in the future?
-
Bias FX standalone is not getting any signals, but if I open Logic Pro it gets signal and I can play and get sound.
Desktop = Dead on sound and signalsHaving problems getting answers in form of emails

Damn good catch - Mojave here and NONE of the standalone Bias apps receive sound from any sound-card source here (BFX BA2 BA1 BP)
Been using iOS only lately and just finished the Mojave upgrade a couple days ago and did not even check the standalone function - unbelievable this has not been brought up sooner and addressed

This seems to be a widespread problem on Mojave with almost ALL standalone (guitar for me) apps - yay Crapple!
NOT working here:
Bias apps (will be fixed)
Waves GTR
THD3
Guitar Rig 4 & 5
Vstomp
Amplitube 4Working Here:
TonebridgeCrazy that the only working app is a FREE app!
If any other Mojave users can check their Standalone apps against the list above and provide any other info and or results that would be good to hear about
cheers

Just adding my vote to please get the standalone app working with Mojave... cmon guys, ISV's get Mojave access way in advance of release to get their apps working, no excuse that Bias rarely works with new MacOS updates when they are released.
-
I can't even get the app or plugin to open after upgrading to Mojave. Really disappointing, and so far no response from Bias. If it doesn't get fixed soon, I'll be forced to switch to a competitor.

FIXED - So turns out it's in the privacy settings for these apps - even when selecting "let it access the microphone" on launch it apparently did not take for the standalone apps though it did for the host apps - but inside the privacy settings you can see the Microphone icon and manually set them there and all works.

Bias fx is totally fucked up in Mojave!!! Standalone is opening anytime it likes and plugin also it is working anytime it likes...Wtf is happening??? It is not only the problem with the signal that you have to change the privacy settings( i solved it) , the biggest problem is that it is not opening at all as a standalone!!! The funniest thing is in Logic. It is working in some projects and not working in other projects!!!WTF??? I was staring my mac and i was laughing alone...I said no wayyyyyyyyy haha.Does anyone knows what is happening???
-
@metalfighter83 nice attitude - maybe you should of made a profile here before you upgraded and did a little research first instead of coming in with venom after your own mistake - PG does not force anyone to upgrade their OS and anyone who does so without first a way to go back is their own problem - good luck with that

Maybe ya shouldn't compute wif fruit.

works fine for me. I am using the latest version on FX and AMP.

I've had success today installing Bias FX on a fresh install of MacOS Mojave. The latest version of Bias FX now asks during startup if you want to turn on the microphone permission; after that, I had to change a few settings in Bias to work with my Scarlet 2i2, but everything is definitely working now. So far, no hangs, crashes or other bad behavior.

I have the same exact issue with Bias FX standalone and Mojave. It works fine in Logic Pro X but I'm having major difficulty with the standalone app. One thing I have found is that if I open the app and there's no input sound, I'll go to audio settings and change from mono to stereo. Somehow I then get signal, then I'll switch back to mono and it will work fine. Have you done this yet?
