Capturing the sound from Bias fx while recording a video.

  • When I try to record myself while playing guitar on Bias Fx with my iPad Pro only the sound that is coming from my guitar is recorded, not the sound on Bias Fx.
I want to be able to record videos of me playing guitar with the iPad and post them on internet.
Does someone knows how to record both the sound from bias fx and the video from the camera at the same time?

  • You have to select something like stereo mix for audio in your capture software.

I typically do voice/narration with a gaming headset at the same time. The headset is seen as another device, so I use VoiceMeeter to 'sum' the output from it and stereo mix, etc, then select VoiceMeeter as the source in my capture software.

  • Ok I see, Does someone knows an app similar to Voicemeeter for Ipad ?
I would like to capture videos of me playing guitar while I put my earphones.

  • That’s something very important for me, if somebody knows with witch app it’s possible to do it please help me.
I’m searching a way to record the both the inner sound of bias Fx and the video at the same time since one year now, It’s so frustrating.

  • Is that somthing that can be done with Aum from Kymatica? Maybe someone knows?

  • @marvinleprix

MoviePro - setup Bias to use one input from your soundcard - plug a mic into another input and visually adjust the levels between them (turn mic pre up to get signal from the room speakers) - Turn on MoviePro it will record from the mic

Made an example for you - please excuse the playing I have C8 Radiculopathy in the left arm severely so it's all pain for me not to mention I have no training but it shows one way to do this with a single iPad - cheers

Doubtful - we need a video app that is written like audio apps with either IAA AU or Audiobus support so that it could participate with other audio apps

I don't know that anyone has considered the need yet in making this happen - cheers
