      @pipelineaudio
      First of all: thanks for your help.
      I have the possibility to try out a HD2, before buying the Stomp. I'll let you guys know how this works out for me (I think the HD2 is pretty similar to the Stomp in terms of latency).
      If this won't work out for me, I have to wait for a used Kemper Stage in around a year :P

      EDIT: Buffer size on the Audient was set to 32 and I tried the sample rate down to 44.1

        The iRig HD2 round trip through audiobuss3 at minimum latency is either 21 or 22msec, I can't remember exactly which i got, and that's on the iPad...With the ASIO4All driver on PC its something like 14msec minimum if I remember right.

        The audient will get a lot lower than that http://kailuamusicschool.com/tech/round-trip-latency-roundup/

        The big clue will be if the HD2 feels better to you, then you will know for sure something was set goofy somewhere

          I just did a short test run with the iRig HD2 and what can I say? I ran with the iRig directly to my iPad and from the iRig to monitors and I had 0 noticeable latency. I don't know why, but it outperforms my Audient in terms of latency completely and after this short test I think this stuff is completely usable for me. If the iRigs latency is around 20ms, I had with the Audient something around 100ms (from the feeling).

          Now I'll look what to buy. The Stomp I/O is now a possible choice, but also the (new?) XSonic XTone Pro, which would be a little bit cheaper. I'll play with the Interface/iPad-combination directly to the mixer and from the mixer to my in-ears.
