      Hi everyone!

I am in the process of recording "Cheap Sunglasses" by ZZ Top on Propellerhead Reason and using Bias Amp for the amplification.

My question is regarding the automation; The song is played with distortion but the 'interlude' section is played using a clean guitar.

Is there a way of "switching off" the distortion for the duration of 4 bars temporarily and then switching it back on when exiting this section?

Any advice would be most appreciated.

@kajus-larsson assuming you're talking about BIAS Amp 2, they stupidly haven't implemented automation for it yet. It's kind of a major complaint for some of us at the moment. Your only real option right now would be using two BIAS instances and automating plugin levels.

I'd just use two instances of the plugin....so much more power that way anyway

But you can automate it, here's BIAS Amp 1 under automation in REAPER

          Youtube Video

Ahh, yeah Bias Amp 2 doesn't show any automation controls (yet?)

BIAS AMP2 shows automation in the next build, coming around end of May ;)
