I have a Pro Acc Registered Bias FX installed on my MAC book pro. I run Logic X on Mac OS X 10.12.6.
Why does the Bias FX plugin need be connected to the internet (Wifi) to be active? Each time I open this plug-in a spin wheel appears and freezes everything behind. I would have to connect my computer to the internet for it to work. This is very inconvenient for people who turn off non-essential items eg WIfi, Bluetooth, etc for optimal performance. Is there a fix?

Might be an Apple thing. Offline function works with Win7 x64.

@eastwardaudio I believe you only need to activate it online once, but you will have to log in again when you purchase anything that expands it features so it knows to unlock them...and also if you want to download from the user cloud. I don't ever notice an issue on my Mac...but then again, I'm always connected to the internet

The issue is that any amps that are created from cloud and downloaded has to have internet connection. If you dont play one of those amps/pedals it wont ask or works normal. As soon as you click on one it will A) require logon or B) kill your host program
