I had the same experience with BIAS 1. When I was annoyed by this in the past I researched and found out that it was the nature of the beast.

How are you opening bias amp 2 amps in bias fx? I thought they didn’t get this going yet

@pipelineaudio The new version of FX desktop works with Amp 2 created amps.

@Christian-Lindqvist Levels maybe? That is usually the culprit in VST/plugin stuff.

Oh wow!!! Crap I was planning on working on other stuff and getting to the skatepark today, but I guess I'm playing with Bias 2 :)

They seem to be nulling so close that I could write it off to level differences, which still brings up what I keep worrying about, the ability to fine tune, see at a glance, and know where the hell unity gain actually is

What is scarier to me is that an amp in BA1 nulls the same amount as this amp in BA2. What's different exactly?

@pipelineaudio No, it will say 'You need a newer version of Bias FX' if you try to load a preset with a Bias Amp 2 model in it. I'm sure it is on the way at some point.

@elric Just be aware that BIAS AMP2 does not support ANY host automation or MIDI so if you had things mapped for gain, volume or something else within the amp - it will get lost.

Currently - there's no way to control BIAS AMP2 from the host like you could V1
