Hi - New to Bias, but love it. However, I think the concept of the Bias Amp and the Bias FX is confusing. I initially thought FX was an effects program that was add-on to Amp. Wouldn't it be better to merge the two programs into one? One program with the full Amp program and the features of FX?
      Just a suggestion/question out of curiosity. :)

That capability is somewhat baked-in, as Bias Amp presets can be opened in Bias FX.

+1 for that! Otherwise BIAS will not stand against its competitors.

It would be nice to buy them as one, but just like I wouldn't want my 2 track editor shoehorned into my DAW without some SERIOUS thought (and where there was a reason to take the resource hit it has caused everytime tried so far), I think the Amp product is really the "zoom in and tweak it" feature I'd love to see in most of the amp sim programs.

Revalver did manage to make them both work together, but implementation felt very weird.

Maybe a whole new product "BIAS Editor" where you could right click ANY fx unit or amp in BIAS FX and edit it the way you do in Amp right now

              The simplest ways would be:

              • have a vst host block in FX (which I've asked for, though I'm thinking there may be difficulty with intergration within their coding scheme; as well, there may be a security risk, perhaps also due to their coding scheme....). This might encourage a slimmed FX product, having only effects, and being able to insert BIAS AMP in the chain.

              • a truly separate, over-arching BIAS editor, that would house any and all PG products in any configuration you want. Here the benefit of this would be matching input and output levels. But it would be kind of ridiculous.

I think the better idea is to integrate BIAS FX with BIAS Head. I would absolutely love to have all the BIAS perks pumping out of my cabinet while performing live.

                      Nic
