PA for home use and potentially stage monitor
-
Hello everyone,
I'm really hesitating between these 2 PA systems :- Bose S1 Pro
- Line 6 Powercab 112
This is mainly for home use with my Bias Amp Processor, but I could use it as stage monitor if needed.
Both products seem good if I refer to the reviews available on the web...Has anyone of you had the chance to really compare these 2 amps ?
What would be the pros/cons of each one ?Thanks for your help,
Serge

Headsrush FRFR-12 and the ALTO TS312 should do the job at a lower pricepoint

@serge-cattoul Bose seems to engineer their systems with exaggerated bass. I'd avoid the S1 Pro.
Unsure why Bose insists on doing this.
Powercab for sure, but maybe get two Headrush FRFR for stereo goodness and less $$

@alderre Hi, thanks for your answer.
You are right, the Powercab is'nt cheap...
The Headrush FRFR really looks like an ALTO PRO active speaker, exactly what we use with our band (we use 2 TS 215) but with 12" speaker. Am I wrong ?
Is this something different between the Headrush and the Alto speaker ?
Anyway we are really happy with these Alto as PA speakers, so I feel confident with the Headrush product... -
@serge-cattoul you are right, the Headrush is the same except the fact that is has no integrated Mic-preams, so the signal should be even more "flat"
