Quick snap bug & amp matched presets sounding like "poo"

In BIAS AMP 2 the quick snaps stick forever! How do you reset them to blank? Even after deinstalling the preceding version and installing the last one, they are still showing??!!
Also to my ears, although it's pretty hard to describe it with words, all the presets made with Amp Matching got this weird flanged, kind of playing into a metallic pipe sound?? And they sound even worst if I replaced the original cab by an IR cab! -
Some of my amp matches have gotten a hollow metallic sound before. Check to make sure no effects are present. Even reverb from the actual room sound needs to be minimized for best results. If you have access to the actual amps you probably need to remic. If you are using a clip you need to find a cleaner clip.
As for the cabs, I made a detailed post about this. IMHO, PG really needs to make a feature for 2 where you can use an existing custom amp for the amp match process. PG's cabs sound nothing like typical IRs. They sound like have already had HPF and LPF filters applied.
Also if you could amp match a line out via a reactive load or similar you could get a very accurate match ala Kemper Profile and AxeFx tone match.

A while ago, I made an Amp Matched preset from a clean BadCat Cub 15 audio file, and it also sounded like sh.t!

@zal Well there you go, one subjective data point == science! :smirk_cat: Like I said, room recordings from Youtubes or random wavs from the net are not necessarily good source for amp matches all the time (although some are)...
Like I said, my general experience is that there is a trial and error factor and the quality of the source is critical for a useful result. To me it is worth the effort.
