Midi footswitch help!
-
Hello everyone,
I’m new using the Bias FX 2 mobile pro. I’m using a Rolland FC-300 midi footswitch with Bias FX2 but I haven’t been able to make it to work when I hit learn. How can I make it work? Do I need a different midi footswitch?
Thank you all!
Cheers.Santiago

I have Bias FX2 working on my iPad Pro with both a Line 6 foot controller AND a M-Vave Bluetooth foot switch.
The Line 6 Shortboard required a powered USB hub to work, so the L6 connects to the powered USB hub, the hub is powered from a decent USB-C 60W PSU and the hub then connects to the iPad Pro. You can use Midi Wrench to check that you are getting MIDI commands through. Long hold on the pedals in BIAS FX 2 to put it into leanr mode and simply click the foot switch for what you want.
The M-Vave is a cheap bluetooth powered footswitch. The doc is non-existent and I mean non-existent, there is no English doc at all, so forget about looking for it :)
However if you download Cube Suite and connectto the M-Vave you can then instruct the M-Vave to switch to Program Change C and then tell Bias FX 2 to learn those commands. Unless you happen to work with low level instruction sets on a computer, it's a complete PITA. I happen to work with low level firmware so its not too bad.
I have no experience with your foot controller so can't comment, but you need to tell your controller to use Channel 1 and to use CC commands. Beyond that its difficult to say
