Hiss and noise when playing any note

Re: Hiss and noise when playing any note.
Subject says it all - i don't have the hum people describe, as my cable is grounded, but whenever I play a note there is a very strange hiss/noise beneath the notes. With the noise gate off, it's present constantly. It's almost like the noise you hear when your cell phone is interfering with a speaker or something, but I tried addressing it by moving my phone away from the amp. This is not the normal hiss one hears on a high-gain amp.

Yes! Same here. My Spark 40 Pearl hisses and crackles. More so with the Noise Gate off. The noise overrides a suspended note and the effects. The volume and impact of the noise increases as I walk through the amp re-sets: from Acoustic, Bass, Clean, Glassy, Crunch, High Gain and to Metal. At High Gain and Metal, the note is barely audible. The issue started immediately.
I have the three-prong power supply. I tried updated the firmware and different outlets in my home, cords, guitars and a bass. The noise persisted each time.
I am disappointed and at a loss, because the Spark seems so cool with so much potential function and fun.
I will be lurking 'round the forum for any fixes.

@dandydaveaxman Me too! My spark worked great for just over a year, then while it was on but not being played (i was switching guitars) it starts making this massive humming sound. No guitar sound comes out at all. Wouldn't ya know it has a one year warranty!! Its been two weeks now and positive grid "customer support" has done nothing at all!!! At first they responded to my emails but I haven't heard anything in almost a week!!! There is no number to call. I am very disappointed in positive grid. I recommended this amp to 4 other players and they bought one each, now i feel like a jackass for talking them into buying one. Guitar players beware positive grid does not care about their customers.
