No sound in my spark after the firmware update. Please help.

URGENT!!
After the firmware update launched today my spark is mute. Neither the guitar or the bluetooth connected device sounds. It doesn't have any sound.
I followed all the steps in the update guide with the ASIO Driver (for windows), the updater app and the update succeeded.
Please help.
Regards,
Juan Pablo

Yeah, same here. A shame
-
Same here...app says I have the correct firmware version....not a sound since the update.
-
Try updating it again and again until it fixes, preferably with the guitar plugged in then you'll know if it took.
Mine is working now.
-
I went back and reupdated the asio and tried the patch again and it works fine.
-
Mine didn't after the first time but I missed the "Eject" button so did it again and used that do disconnect and fixed it.
Now if I could just get the app to download arrrggghhhh

Same here, will try reinstalling

Same here, Amp totally bricked and useless now. I want to return this thing, nothing but problems since I got it.

Not really bricked. You can use one of the former firmware updates, and the amp will work again.
BUT: I then tried to re-install the new firmware upgrade, and: the application hung and did'nt complete, after restart it showed the new firmware version, but my amp is useless now: all 5 LEDs are blinking, no sound ..... Connection via USB and Bluetooth still working though. Strange.
-
My initial update "bricked" the amp but as others have said just try it again, mine worked fine after about 3 attempts. Also, after updating hit the "Eject" button before disconnecting the amp, seems to help. I also had to switch the amp on and off a couple times, plus turn the bluetooth connection to my phone on and off. Sorry for the vagueness of what I did but it only took a couple minutes and the amp came back to life better than ever, updates are great.

@peter-bischoff Same happened to me. Once the installer hangs it wont work again, (win 10 non responsive update app) I just plugged sparky into a different usb port making winblows think its a new device and it loads the drivers and stuff again for that device/connection. Ran the updater again and it only took like 4 seconds for the update to finish

Same issue here. Also for me reinstalling the windows ASIO drivers and updating again made the amp work again.

Same Issue.
I re-installed the ASIO Drive and updated again the firmware (even tough it did say I was up to date) and now it is finally working.
It says on the updating web page that we should try with another computer if it keeps failing... Just another hint if several attempts don't do any good for you guys.
Thanks for you all for your inputs and sharing. -
@emetalce
Thanks. I have the same problem. No sound, no new effects, but definitely states I have the latest firmware. I'll keep doing it .... -
@jimi Sometimes just connecting to a different usb port makes windows reload stuff as if it is a new device, kinda like hooking to a new pc
-
Same thing but didn't notice the "Eject" button on the update page. Did it again and this time used the button and everything A-OK.

Hi all.
After checking some similar issues in spark social groups I've repeated the process but using the "eject" button at the end and now the amp is working well. The guide must include this final step.
Thanks.

Same issue here. I carefully followed every detail of the instructions for the update (and used "Eject"), but no sound from amp. I tried a factory reset, and even left the power supply unplugged overnight. Still no sound. :-(

Update - several attempts and eventually it worked.

I re-installed the Windows ASIO drivers and ran through the firmware update again, making sure to hit the Eject button. This time it worked! Nice to have a functioning amp again.
