Loud snapping sound when turning spark off
-
2 week old spark tonight makes loud snap in speaker when turning off. Has grounded power supply. Setting both volumes low doesn’t help. Works fine otherwise.
Anyone else have this problem ?? -
I have had my Spark 40 for about 3 weeks now. At first when I turned it off there was Not a Loud Snapping - Pop sound. Now it has also started doing it. Turning the volume down does not make a difference.
I tried different settings but it still pops. I just wonder why it has just started doing that. And is there any possibility of damage?

@alan-spearman
I just received a replacement from Amazon for same exact behavior. Was only 3 weeks old and I didn't want to chance it having other problems.
The exchange one is fine ( so far ) -
I have had my spark 40 for a couple months and I absolutely love it. But I too have been plagued by this weird loud pop when I turn it off. volume knob has nothing to do with it. whether there is something in the jack has nothing to do with it. the Bluetooth connection has nothing to do with it. Just on its own when turned off it creates a loud pop. Now I don't really mind because it's just a practice amp for me and I'm not taking it out gigging or using it in any capacity other than to practice at home, but I would like a good explanation on what exactly is causing this and if there is a possible at home fix because I would hate to have to send the thing in. That being said if there isn't a fix then I'll just "deal with it" as lame as that it but other than that it's a great gadget.

What is Positive Grid response to this obvious faulty circuit or component in the Spark 40 making it pop loudly through the speakers upon powering down. Has an explanation been issued or should a class action suit be considered.
