Spark has no sound
-
Hello,
I received my Spark earlier this week and had issues connecting it to Studio One 5. I updated the firmware on the Spark today and as soon as I did this I was unable to get any sound from the Spark. I tried streaming through my computer, I tried disconnecting it from the computer and only using the guitar input, and I tried using the bluetooth from phone but was unable to get any sound. When I tried resetting the amp and it did not work. When I turn the amp off there is a loud, quick "crackling" noise and that is the only sound.Anyone have any experience with this issue? Customer service said it would take up to 48 hours to hear back from their technical department, and that seems like a long time to go without an amp, especially one that is less than a week old.

Is it the same problem as this...... and dude your not the only one who's going through this, this is my second time sending my amp back for the same issue on my video.. and another amp I bought on craigslist has the same issue also but they won't honor that warranty cause there's no original sales receipt.. I hardly review any company or there products but man.. this company is the worst company I've ever dealt with I've never went out of my way but I feel like I'm obligated to to warn people about this company and there bad practice of business

@ksumagang831 I seem to have the same problem. Appeared suddenly today following three weeks of successful use. I get only static/hissing noises when guitar cable is plugged in...same regardless of amp 'type' setting on the amp selection knob. I can play music okay via mobile phone/bluetooth but no input from guitar/bass. I've reported...was initially asked to do firmware update but I pointed out that I'd only had the amp for three weeks and there had been no problem with any of the facilities. I'm now waiting...at the moment patiently, although that might change!!

Soon my Spark 40 finally arrived today, but the box was badly damaged. I desperately needed an amp ASAP so reported it to PG (and the courier) and included photos. I then unboxed it. The inner box was sealed with tape and I'm fairly sure PG have sent me a customer return. The power socket on the amp seems to wobble but the device powers up fine. No sound whatsoever - tried Bluetooth playback and that doesn't work either. I've adjusted the guitar volume, master volume, output volume and music volume but still nothing. I've tried it with 3 different ernie ball leads all of which are working, but still no sound. My app says the firmware is up to date, and I've paired/unpaired countless times and even done the full factory reset twice but makes no difference. Its a brick. 250 quid wasted plus will have to cancel my students this weekend. Product is junk.

@levstarr sorry to read that. That is what happens when one make business with a company of liars. I have lost money too. Fortunately, only with the mobile version, but they scammed me too. I hope you can have your money back.
