Switching pedals is the essential part of electric guitarism
-
I am a user of the standard license and I have to speak out. I understand that full midi control can be related to premium functions. But! Turning the pedals on and off is the main function that shapes the traditional guitar sound. It cannot be attributed to premium functions, this is the basis, you understand??? It is very greedy to cut off this feature in order to force the user to buy a more expensive license. Think about it, it's not fair!

@slava-sizov I agree if that is the case then it isn’t fair. Switching a pedal on and off can’t be a premium feature it’s just switching something on or off.
Can this be clarified which program you are talking about please as it doesn’t say in the thread and then whoever makes or moderates the software may have a look at it on behalf of us consumers.

@slava-sizov Ditto, what are you talking about?

@sdzimmerman in Bias FX 2 i'm using standard license cause i'm just a basic guitarist and I don't need many amps.
In this license they have cut midi functionality. I mean fully cut. Not only knobs, but even pedal switching.
This is really annoying, cause i have to load 2 instances of Bias FX 2 (one with pedal, the second without it) and switch between them, thus doubling cpu usage. And I think this situation is really unfair, cause it forces me to buy higher license for basic feature.

Simple and basic scenario:
Clean guitar in verse, then overdrive pedal kicks in chorus, then off for second verse. How it can be done in Bias FX 2???
When I turn the overdrive pedal on and off (with my mouse) during the recording it just stays on the last state. The state of it was not recorded.
No midi, no automation. What Standard license for??? Just for testing sound?

Guitar effects come in the form of a foot pedal with control knobs, buttons, and switches, and are often placed on the floor for easy access!
