anyone done the spark shuffle on this item

what does one think about the features? -
@crystalpit Looks great but there is very little specific to learn about the amp models included nor the list of effects nor whether the amp/effects chain can be re-organized or whether they are in a fixed sequence like the Spark, and the demos are fairly lacking in sound. It says that we can stream backing tracks to it but I didn't hear any in the video. I can't imagine great sound coming from 2.5" speakers so I would need to hear it in person before considering it. And just like the Spark40 amp and PG, the Jamstack people are taking pre-orders before they are even in production with the amp, so given the horrible timeline with the Spark amps, I would never pre-order an amp again! I wish they would give more precise information such as a list of all the amp models and which real-world amps they are modeled after, and a list of possible effects along with which real-world effects they are modeling. Any shots of the smartphone app were very obscured as if they really don't have it anywhere near complete yet.
I would also worry about the weight issue -- how having an amp attached to the strap button might make the guitar very unstable and force us all to use more hand pressure to keep it at a proper playing angle, thus making it harder to play long rapid runs easily.
I wish them luck with the project and I can't wait to hear/see one in action in person!

yes, it's the same as what the spark time frame was basically.
Considering what the jambox 1 was like, this looks like a deal n a half... err.. looks like only deal 3 and 4 are left.
Deal one sold out in 9min I read.
I'm p!ssed it didn't come on my timeline earlier, similar to the spark... I missed out on the cheaper deals.
this can be used like a regular standalone amp not only attached to the guitar.
I think they should be marketing the standalone first.. plus guitar attachment, not just the attachment part.
And the speaker size shouldn't really be much of a difference unless one enjoys kranking your spark to high volumes, for me, I enjoy low volumes, so as not to disturb anyone, otherwise I've got other better amps and fx for normal sound levels and practices.
To me it looks like it's got the NUX wireless size.. incl speakers and the spark functionality, and its compatible with quite a few apps to supplement what it doesn't have.
Still, for that price, can't go wrong...
I wonder if I should sell my 5th spark 😂 and give this one a go... -
I'll be honest. I think it's solution, without a problem. I don't 'get' that form factor.
It's too small to sound as good as competition like the Yamaha, Spark etc with bigger speakers for sitting on a desktop, table etc..
But it is WAY too big and unwieldy, imho, for attaching to the guitar like that.
There are cheaper options for mobile, take with you small modellers, with ther own speakers. The Blackstar FLy comes to mind, among many.
There are better, imho, home practice amps for home, Spark, Yamaha, Boss, etc, etc. MANY with proven track records and solid distribution.
There are better travel options, imho like Vox Amp plugs, Fender Mustang Micro, that just plug in UNOBTRUSIVELY to the guitar jack.
It seems to want to cover all those areas, but is a poor or poorer choice in all of them.
I could get a Spark and a Vox amp plug or Fender Micro, and be better off, with similar cash outleay, both at home and in a hotel.
NOW something like the Fender Mustang Micro, with darn good modelling, bluetooth in, an App, that ALSO allowed Bluetooth out for wireless buds and cans, you likely already have with you, at a decent price THAT is not in the market yet

@hill climb racing It looks good overall, but it lacks specific information about the included amp models and effects. It would be helpful to know if the amp/effects chain can be re-organized or if it follows a fixed sequence like the Spark. Additionally, the demos could be improved as they don't provide a comprehensive representation of the sound. The product description mentions the ability to stream backing tracks, but I did not hear any in the video. It appears to have the NUX wireless size, including speakers and the spark functionality. Additionally, it is compatible with several apps to enhance its capabilities. I am considering purchasing either a Spark and a Vox amp plug or a Fender Micro. I believe that either option would be beneficial for me, as they are within a similar price range and would enhance my musical experience both at home and while traveling in a hotel.
