Ik Multimedia Stomp I/O and Bias FX
-
Maybe I’ll get this while I wait for PG to build a floor unit. It should work with Bias fx right?
-
Oh man, please tell me it has real ASIO drivers and the pedals work with windows!
-
Looks like a nice piece of kit right there. Midi in and out for expansion too. Hopefully it has nice converters. $299? Might be happier with the new UA interface
-
@alderre It is class compliant (so audio will be a slam dunk) and it supports MIDI so I would expect no major issues with Bias.
It might take a little fiddling as the PG apps are a bit wonky in their MIDI setup (some docs would be nice PG  ) but I have configured at least three different MIDI controllers with Bias Mobile without major issues so I'd be pretty surprised if there was an issue that proved to be any kind of show stopper.
Much to @pipelineaudio's likely delight, I also noted that the foot controller has a switch built-in.
Looks like a nice product. I'd consider one as a Mac interface.
-
I’m secretly (openly) wishing someone from PG chimes in and hints that we should wait for something big coming soon.
I like my PT pedal, but it is just not quite the floor experience I’m looking for.
Also, does Sean Halley ever post in these forums? I dear a pseudonym perhaps?

No response from IK yet as to whether this has an actual ASIO driver. I sure hope so, looks absolutely awesome

Ah, so close, but one tragic flaw that makes it pretty useless for me. It's only a SINGLE channel audio interface! 80% of what I do on my iPad involves singing while playing guitar and working out song ideas. If only this had two neutriks' or just separate hi-z TS and XLR mic jacks. I'd be surprised if the internal hardware didn't support two channels, what a brutal design flaw on an expensive piece of gear :(
-
@642carl I wouldn't call it expensive but if you need two channels is is a bummer. I can understand why you would pass on it if you need two inputs.

From their www site:
Windows®: Fully supports Windows 10 WASAPI for low latency audio. One free USB port.
(ASIO4ALL is required on Windows 7 and 8 for low latency audio. See our FAQ here for further details.)URL: http://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/irigstompio/index.php?pp=irigstompio-specs

Man, what a colossal bummer :( Way to drop the ball IK.
Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Oh well, back to my setup creation :)

@elric : I don't consider $299 for a finely designed pedal board AND interface expensive, either. It's for electric guitarists, who rarely sing. Also, acoustic players usually aren't switching channels.
