I ordered my spark the 2 of december, and they say it won't be shipped until the 22 of december, wich I think is a bit excesive (¿?). So just wanted to ask if this is the standard or normally they ship earlier and Im being tricked

What is your location?

Hello,
I take davantage of the post to ask the dame question. My order is dated 27/11 and they plan to send 17/12. My location is France.
I understood that they delivered in 15days max.
Do they always send tracking when they send ?
Thanks. -

I know the Spark is being shipped out of California here in the states. Not sure in other countries. Delays are bound to happen, especially around the holidays. Be patient.

@tdolby i know in Europe it's sended by germany

I ordered mine 8 days ago and heard no updates about shipping. When I messaged and said I'd like a definite ship date or I'd like to cancel, they sent me a notification that it had shipped with a FedEx tracking number. Supposedly that shipping label was created the day I ordered it and has not moved nor been dropped off or picked up by FedEx. Now it's been 3 days since I last heard from PositiveGrid via their support and they won't reply. I have messaged that I want to cancel my order because the order didn't actually ship but they won't acknowledge it. No other way that I know to get a hold of them.

@kylerburke-positivegrid As those of us that pre-ordered and waited 6 to 9 months to receive our Spark know, most of us received the fedex tracking number but didn’t see it actually moving with Fedex for about 3 to 4 days (lots of old threads on this topic). PG creates those tracking labels, but then has to organize getting the units to Fedex, hence taking the few days. Similar to sellers on ebay or Reverb creating the shipping labels, but then taking a few days to actually drop the item off to the shipping company. The fact you have a tracking number is a good sign. A few people might chime in and say “be patient” as it will be worth the wait.

There's an almost identical thread on this called "Delivery Date Issues", started a couple of weeks back. Same old story -- they have promised me that after some recent 'logistics' issues they expect to ship stuff to Fed Ex tomorrow (Dec 12th) so who knows. As so many people will note, PG's form on meeting their stated delivery dates is woeful. They would actually do a lot better in terms of customer response if they told people shipping was always weeks out. If they beat it, customers would be delighted. If not, it would just reflect the reality up front when ordering.
-
So update about situation:
I contacted PG Contact suport yesterday and they said they have received and update from their logistics and they've got delayed, and the orders "should start to be shipped on or before December 21st, and once shipped should take a few day for the spark to be delivered". So for people on Europe to similar cases to mine this may be helpful. -
They told me the day before it would be Dec 12th, they tell you it's the 21st...I mean, what's the difference right? Did they also happen to mention they are doing everything they can to get you your amp as soon as possible?
-
@hibernian They did not even provide me a date but said there was a delay in packaging and that was fixed and shipping is very soon. And that was last week and still no updates with the shipping label sugarcoated on Dec 2. With the distribution center located in less than 5 miles, picking up by myself has never been an option when asked. It happens in LA and many people across the internet say exactly the same. I doubt if the amps are even actually in stock. Yet, the promotions after promotions. Seems like PG is purposefully doing so to take advantage of holiday demands (also a very easy excuse due to the busiest days of the year). If that is unfortunately the case, PG is going to lose many customers. The greed is real!

I doubt they are doing this on purpose. Most online business's don't have the knowledge of exact shipping speeds and delivery estimates. The product that you order is at the mercy of the shipping company, Fed-Ex being the one that PG uses. As an example, USPS is backup 3 to 4 months on mail and packages at the moment. Amazon is the only one that I know of that posts delivery dates within reason, but even then dates are not guaranteed.

I received an email from PG following my question about my shipping times. He tells me that by doing a search, my order was handed over to the carrier. He gave me a tracking that tells me that the package is not supported, and on the PG site my order is still not sent.
Who to believe. The carriers, when they have the packages deliver within normal times, except for worries.
There, he tells me it's gone when it's not gone. It's not serious. -
@tdolby I totally got your point. However, it has been confirmed that this is the logistic issue by PG CS in addition to the fact that Fedex has not received the shipment yet. It is understandable if the case is sporadic given a fair chances of human errors. However, It is not likely to be the case when noticing many people around the world except few lucky buyers complaining the same plus the way PG CS handling the matter. If they do care the customers, there should be an update regarding the delay due to the ongoing logistic issue while taking down or revise the shipping info accordingly instead of posting that orders are normally shipped 5-7 business days while PG knows that it is not gonna happen.
-
Well the 12th has passed without any further word, that's the second estimate PG has failed to meet. Sort of obvious how useless their customer response team is when it comes to giving accurate info on delivery.
-
OK, to update again in the hope that it's useful. My latest prod did not get a direct response but I did get a shipping update and am told to anticipate delivery this week. Again, I ordered last weekend in Nov with supposed delivery within 3-5 days so hopefully this might help some of you calibrate your expectations. If it arrives, it would be about two weeks behind schedule. I'll confirm if it arrives.

@hibernian
The same thing. Me, they tell me that they have been handed over to the carrier while neither they nor the carrier on the tracking tells me that it's gone
It's not honest of them -
Ordered mine on 12/2 as well. Delivery was to be the 9th.. product never moved. Then after a couple of requests.. they came back and said it should be delivered by the 12th. NO other communication since then...even after me filling out their "satisfaction survey" twice telling them I wasn't happy. Yet still no communication. Still shows "Ready to Ship" and that's it. Others on guitar forums I'm on ordered theirs on the 2nd from Amazon and they got theirs in 4-5 days. Guess Amazon is their priority.. and I'm not. Even though they took my money the very minute I ordered it. I would cancel and order from there.. but the price has gone up. Really concerned that I'm being burned. VERY poor customer service.

I am also disgusted with not having ordered on amazon. I knew that amazon had the product the day I ordered from pg, but it was too late.
Seeing how it's gone, I won't have it for Christmas
