How about a PC version of the Spark App
-
I have both BIAS FX and the Spark, both are amazing. I use my Android phone for the Spark app but it's a small screen. I could always invest in a cheap tablet but since the Spark connects via USB how about a PC version too. I guess my eyesight isn't as good as it once was so a bigger screen would be sweet!!

My phone isn't even compatible with the Spark app because of my Android version being too old lol. Which means the only way to control the Spark for me would be physical knobs and buttons

@mitchell-l-cutler Tried that when my new phone did not work the app as required, portrait view only too. Bought new android with same result, bit of a screw-up not to tell us that to get it all as advertised it has to be a Mac or nothing. Jeeez they even mention a windows installer somewhere on the site! I did find an online version of the chord finder app that worked in Windows until tonight, now I get a selection of Google mail how-to's in foreign languages that make it impossible to use at all.

@jacgra92 There's some cheap tablets out there that would work for you.
-
@jacgra92 Cyber Monday an Amazon Fire for $55. Or $79 for a 10". Install Google Play on it and you're good to go.

It does work. I've been using the app on a tablet OS running on a virtual machine. Set up the bluetooth before installing the OS, not after. That's what worked for me.

@mbthinline I made an attempt at that, but didn't have any luck. Can you share a little bit of info on your setup?

I'm using VirtualBox to run a tablet OS on a linux desktop. Everything runs great.
In the settings of Virtualbox there's a place to deal with USB devices. Make sure your built in or dongle based bluetooth is listed there and has been added as an active device.
Do this before you install the OS. After Virtualbox is showing your adapter install a tablet OS from here.
From there treat it like a normal tablet. Go to the playstore and install the Spark app.

Hey. Thanks for the info. I like many don't feel like getting a tablet just to use with Spark.
What version of Linux did you install on VirtualBox for this? -
@adampinc https://soundshed.com/ Not quite sure why this hasnt gotten around to folks more A PC version in beta

@nwfungi I installed Soundshed. It looks promising, BUT trying to register, both my emails are said to be used.. can't find a way to reset the email or password. Any Know?

I've a little bit of idea about using this Spark App. Though I have already used Android screen mirror app. By using this app you can easily connect your phone to your PC or Computer. Besides, you can share your phone screen to other Android phones. Overall, the Android screen mirror feature is really that you can try for. I really love it.
