Is the headhpone jack not 3.5mm or am I crazy?
-
I had 1/4 headphones and I'm using an adapter to plug into the headphone jack. It's a "Hosa GMP-113 1/4" Female To Mini 1/8" TS Male Mono Adaptor" that can be seen here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000068O47/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It feels super loose and won't stay in. Did I buy the wrong adapater?

@jmchauv For sure that is the wrong adapter as it is mono on both sides. Your 1/4” headphones should have a stereo jack (like they all do), so you need a 1/4” stereo Female to 1/8” (3.5mm) Male stereo adapter.

@bschultz8 would this be it?

@jmchauv No, that one is opposite what you need. You say you have 1/4” jack on your headphones, so you need adapter with female end to receive the 1/4” jack from headphones and the other end needs to be a 1/8”/3.5mm male end to go into the Spark headphone jack.
This one is what you need:
https://www.amazon.com/MOBOREST-Adapter-Conversion-Headphone-Fashion/dp/B07DD4FTLW/ref=sr_1_10?dchild=1&keywords=1%2F8+stereo+to+1%2F4+stereo+adapter&qid=1603420301&sr=8-10What is good about this one is there is a little ‘step’ at the base of the 1/8” side that should help with solid contact on the jack on the Spark. There should be enough room between the jack on the Spark and the music volume knob to clear the main body of the adapter.

@bschultz8 Thanks so much, ordered. This has been a pain in my butt and my wife is ready for me to have working headphones :)
