Spark or Bias Amp 2 ?
-
I have been hearing a lot about the Spark lately . I was curious as to how the amp sims would sound. So I downloaded the demo for Bias Amp 2 and was really blown away with it !
Will I get the same amp sims with the Spark as the Bias Amp 2 ?
I am concerned that the Spark may have a stripped down version of the Bias Amp 2 .
Any input would be greatly appreciated !
Thanks -
@pieces-of-27 I don't know what would be considered "stripped down".
The amp has:
ONBOARD EFFECTS
30 Amp Models
40 Effects
(Noise Gate, Compressor, Distortion, Modulation, Delay, Reverb)Plus, the app allows you to modify amp and effects parameters
as well as access preset patches on the Tone Cloud.There are also settings for acoustic guitar and bass.

@rwspencer
I could have asked more clearly, sorry about that .
Does the Spark have the same Amp modeling as the Bias Amp 2 ? The Spark demos I have seen don’t sound as good as Bias Amp 2 , however I am not hearing them in my own setting, I’m sure that makes a big difference.I am leaning towards the Spark .

@pieces-of-27 I believe that the Spark uses the same modeling as other PG products.
If you are not interested in a practice amp and would like a full range of sound design options for your own setup or recording I would recommend the desktop software.
