Any plans to add footswitch capability to Spark amp ?
-
Not having that seems to be a big minus on something that is suppose to be so connected.

I have the Positive Grid BT4 bluetooth pedal controller. Can I use this with the Spark Amp to control the effects on and off? Waiting for my Spark Amp, can't wait till I get it and see if I can pair the BT4 witht the Spark.

@cubano100pct same here and asked this place and on facebook. Current answer is "not currently" which leaves a glimpse of hope.
-
I agree. Would definately buy this if it had that. But i,ll stick with amplifii tt and shortboard pedal for now.
-
what is this "AMP" you speak of?
-
I don't think they have an amp available for production for them to work on a pedal at this point.
-
This is definitely my biggest complaint about this otherwise amazing little amp.
-
my only issue with the amp. Sounds great. Manually changing settings is a big pain
-
This lack of foot switch for the spark is mystifying to me. Please fix this!
-
@charliehalbery what is amplifi tt?

Last words i heard from PG about this is that it would be too costly to build one and retail price would be too high compared to the spark price

@sparkamplover I'd like to be able to setup a chain of sounds and then, even if tapping the screen, move quickly between them.
Ex. Clean, heavy, solo, etc
Foot pedal would be nice but it shouldnt be difficult to code 'select the three or four or x presets you want to quickly switch between'
-
@ballistica69 Made that suggestion back in the fall. Just four customizable buttons at the bottom of the screen you could assign to a preset of turn an effect on/off.
-
I have actually built my own footswitch which can do even more than the AirStep (Lite):
- Switch between HW presets
- Switch between custom presets (using banks)
- Toggle each effect in the chain for a selected preset
- Quick toggle Drive for selected preset
- Connect to the Spark App to receive and store new presets
- Act as a bluetooth keyboard to work with Looper apps (and others)
It was all built using an ESP32 platform as the basis and connecting switches and LEDs.
