Logic Pro: I have to manually launch Bias FX 2 each time I open a project
-
Logic 10.4.8 on MacOS 10.14.6.
I have 5 instances of Bias FX 2 on separate channel strips in a project. Each time I open this project I have to manually launch most of the instances of Bias FX 2, but not all before any audio is heard. All of the other amp simulators in this project are ready to go when the project is opened. Is there a setting I am missing? Any ideas?Thank you,
Jonathan

This sounds like the same problem I am now having. Are the recorded segments showing in purple rather than the normal colour once recorded? Hoping there is a fix coming for this as appears to be recent but is very frustrating

@mike said in MacOS Catalina and Bias FX/2 Desktop:

this issue will be fixed in the next official release but works in the above version
-
@tafkad Has this been fixed in the latest version? I just did an update, and still see the same problem (of the freshly loaded Logic project not loading the Bias FX2 patch until I actually open the FX2 control panel)
-
@prattmaster I have not tried 4840 and will wait to hear all reports before upgrading since older version works fine
-
@tafkad 2.1.8.4840 still has this problem. Sucks, but I just have to remember to open all instances of FX2 every time I open Logic
-
@prattmaster I just don't update anymore since updates rarely bring new content of interest to me and fix little, this bug should not be in this next beta but who knows...
make sure to open a ticket for it anyway to keep it in sight hopefully - cheers

I have the same problem in Cubase 10.5 Pro, using Windows 10. I've submitted a ticket.

I am bias fx 2 Elite user. İ have same problem =)

Logic 10.5/BIAS FX2 pro user, I have this problem too. Driving me nuts, enough to sling BIAS FX2 in the bin if they dont sort this out.
